BIGELOW FAMILY CEMETERY
This cemetery is in the Arlington section on the south side of the St.Johns River. To reach it from Jacksonville, go out Atlantic Boulevard (State-Road-78) to Chaseville Road. Turn left on Chaseville road and go 2.4 miles through Arlington, Florida. Turn left on Floral Bluff road and go: 0.2 mile to the cemetery, which is on the left in a grove of trees. Benjamin Bigelow who died Dec. 1840 was the first to be buried there. This cemetery came into being as the ..... burying ground of the family of Robert Bigelow, who from published letters is known to have been living in this section in 1837. it is still used by members of the Bigelow family.
