P.S. I think that William Earnest Bigelow's 50 year marriage
referred to on your web page was to a woman named Grace (from family
records), but I do not know her maiden name. And you have listed
that Shirley Florence Bigelow died 04 nov 1928. I show that was
her marriage date to Albert Boone Sewell. As you can see by the
photo I sent earlier, she lived at least until Dec. 1969. They
had one daughter named Sandra who married a man with the last name
Hagemann. They had at least one son named Al
who married someone named Mary, and they had at least three boys,
Shane, Levi,
& Joshua Lee. (See attached newspaper clipping.)
I also wanted to share a few photos that recently came into my
possession from a Schroder family album. They are Frances Irvene
BIGELOW Schroder and three of her grandchildren by Melvin Thomas &
Priscilla Jeanne Schroder: Terry Lynne Schroder (on the left),
Melvin Thomas Schroder Jr. (my father), and Debra Denise Schroder;
Frances Irvene again; and her sister, Shirley Florence
BIGELOW Sewell.

After sending that last message, I just had to look deeper. So,
according to the 1930 census, William & Grace were living with her
parents, Frank & Mary Nevers, and 4 younger siblings in Eureka, CA
at the time.
Then again, it shows that both Frank & Mary were born in
California, but that Grace's father was born in Oregon & her mother
was born in California. So, even though it lists Grace as
daughter to the head of household, I'm guessing
that Frank may actually have been her step-father and that would also
explain
the age difference between her & the other siblings.
OK, further digging shows that Mary Nevers' maiden name was Dean, and
she did marry a man with the last name Hodges, who was indeed Grace
Marie Bigelow's father.
