(HAY) BIGELOW, was born at Ticonderoga, Essex, NY on 31 March 1840. In
March 1869 he married Mrs. Mary Ann (Taylor) Reed who was born 20 November
1838 in Mercer co., PA. The 1880 census shows this family in Jackson
twp., Webster co., IA. Samuel died in Gilmore, IA on 23 February 1925
and his widow two weeks later on 06 March 1925 also at Gilmore.
