155    Thomas ³ BIGELOW, fifth child and third son of Samuel ² (John ¹) and Mary (FLAGG) BIGELOW, was born 24 Oct 1683 in Watertown, Middlesex, MA. He was married there 12 July 1705 to Mary LIVERMORE, daughter of John and Hannah LIVERMORE. She was born 11 April 1684 in Watertown. They removed to Marlborough, and lived there until 1720, when they moved to Waltham (formed from Watertown), and Thomas' parents lived with them until their deaths. His wife Mary died 14 Aug 1753 Waltham, and Thomas on 6 Oct 1756. They had many descendants in the vicinity of Waltham.

1551       Thomas ,b 26 Apr 1706 Marlborough; d 10 Sep 1779 Southborough; m(1)____ 1730 Elizabeth NURSE, and (2) 1 Oct 1770 Bethiah NEWTON; res Marlborough. 8 children.

1552      Mary, b 2 Sep 1707 Marlborough; no death date; m 15 Oct 1730 Josiah GODDARD of Newton. no issue.

1553      Grace, b 7 Feb 1709 Marlborough; m 1 Jan 1730 Joseph HAGER; res Waltham. 8 children.

1554      Uriah, b 15 July 1711 Marlborough; accidentally killed 6 Oct 1734 Marlborough; unmarried. Left an estate valued at L 318-3-6. See headstone picture below

1555      Abraham, b 5 Mar 1713 Marlborough; d 14 Mar 1775 Weston, MA; m (1) 2 Jan 1736 Abigail BULLARD, and (2) 24 Oct 1751 Anna FISKE; res Weston. 14 children.

1556      Isaac, b 1 Sep 1716 Marlborough; d 16 Sep 1736 Weston; unmarried. See headstone picture below

1557      Jacob, b 1 Sep 1717 Marlborough; d 6 Sep 1800 Braintree, MA; m 14 Dec 1738 Susanna MEAD; res Waltham. 12 children including Mary (BIGELOW) STEARNS, mother of Abigail, who is buried in same cemetery with Thomas ³ and Samuel ².

1558      Sarah, b 15 May 1720 Waltham; d 1783; m 3 Jan 1744 Elisha LIVERMORE. 9 children.

1559      Josiah, b 30 July 1730 Waltham; d 15 July 1810 Waltham; m 27 July 1749 Mary HARRINGTON; res Waltham. 11? children .

All these stones found in Grove Hill Cemetery, Waltham, MA. In Sept. 1996. The stones left to right are: Isaac (son of Thomas and Mary); Uriah 1734; Lt Thomas 1756; Samuel; Mary Flagg (his wife); Lt. Thomas again; and his wife Mary.
