Henry Homes 8 BIGELOW

15133.245    Henry Homes 8 BIGELOW, son of  Jonathan 7 ( Andrew 6, Charles 5 , Joseph 4,John 3, Samuel 2, John 1)  and Eliza (TAPPAN) BIGELOW, was born at Rochester, MA (one record states New Haven, CT when his father was a minister in CT) on 28 December 1830 and married Mary D. Smith, daughter of Daniel, on 15 May 1858 in Cincinnati, OH. Mary was born on 05 April 1834 and was of Cincinnati, OH at the wedding time. This family resided in San Francisco, CA where she died on 18 February 1881. Henry was a newspaper editor and insurance man in San Francisco and tradition states in the employ of Hearst. It is stated that he died in Fresno, CA on 11 October 1910 by one account and in San Francisco by another.
