Descendant Note:
I've been chasing down some family information for quite a while now. My father is Neal William ¹⁰ Bigelow (b 28 Feb 1917), Mum's name is Maureen Eilen Mullings. Dad's father is Russell John  ⁹ Bigelow (b 1884) who was married to Eleanor Greenwood.. Russell John ⁹ was the 6th child of Ebenezer ⁸ Bigelow (1836-1916) and Jemima (1841- 1917).. Ebenezer ⁸ is the 3rd child of David ⁷ Bigelow (b 11 Sept 1813), and Martha Jane Weaver..
I have visited the two cemeteries around Canning Nova Scotia (not too far from where I live) and have found bits and pieces of information.  Would you possibly have some more information on the names above? If so, please email me and we can exchange other information if you like.

Russell Obituary:
The 1901 Nova Scotia, Kingsport district, finds John R. [Russell John]Bigelow, born Jan. 7, 1884, with his parents, Ebenezer, 64, and Jemima, along with siblings, Edgar, 34, Homer, 27, and David. 23.
Russell John Bigelow and Eleanor Greenwood were married June 14, 1911 at Souris, Manitoba. The 1921 Alberta finds Russell John Bigelow, 32, his wife, Eleanor, 28, living at Big Valley, with children, Russell G., 8, and Neal William, 4. After Eleanor's death, John remarried to Irene E. Tait at Drumheller, Alberta in 1941.

RUSSELL BIGELOW
Russel John Bigelow, 67, of 330 15th Ave. E., died Wednesday at his home. Born in Medford, N.S., he worked out of Drumheller as a C.N.R. engineer for 36 years. He retired six years ago and came to Calgary last year. Surviving are his wife, Irene; two sons, Russell, Vancouver, and Neil, an instructor with the R.C.N.V.R. at Annapolis, N.S.; a brother, Harold, and a sister, Mrs. J. E. Kennedy at Canning, N.S.
