1592C.1      Ebenezer 6 BIGELOW, son of Amasa 5 ( Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John1 and Rosina (CONE) BIGELOW, was born 3 February 1774 at Cornwallis, Kings county, Nova Scotia. He was a shipbuilder by trade, building a ship every year of his adult life. He married on 29 April 1803 Ann Rand (called Nancy), daughter of John and Katherine (Ahearn) Rand. She was born 1 October 1772 in Cornwallis, and died 19 December 1854 at Kentville. He died 1 June 1858, the Bigelow genealogy by G. B. Howe says by falling from a vessel. They are buried in Habitant cemetery.

1592C.14t     David, b 11 Sep 1812; d 19 May 1867; m ___ 1833 Martha Weaver. __ children.

1592C.15t     Ebenezer, b l2 Jan 1815; d 14 Aug 1889 Canning, NS; m 14 Mar 1838 Watie Sanford; shipbuilder in NS. 10 children.

1592C.16t     Abraham, Dr., b 15 May 1817; d 22 Sep 1896; m (1) 03 Dec 1851 Rachel M. Tupper; (2) 23 Sep 1871 Emma (Reid) Terry. 6 children.
