Henry "Harry" Clifton ⁹ BIGELOW

1592C.1162 Henry "Harry" Clifton ⁹ BIGELOW, son of Amasa ⁸ ( Justus ⁷ , Ebenezer ⁶ , Amasa ⁵, Isaac ⁴, Isaac ³, Samuel ², John¹) and Elizabeth (FULLERTON) BIGELOW, was born at Medford, NS on 25 November 1862. He married on 16 October 1883 Margaret Jane "Maggie" McNutt. She was born 22 January 1866, the dau of John and Catherine (MacKay) McNutt. They lived many years in Lower Stewiacke, where Henry was a merchant, and had 10 children. She died 19 September 1951 and buried in Truro, NS., Truro Cemetery. Henry died 14 June 1937((?) Lower Stewiacke.

Obituary of Harold Bigelow Taggart: Sept 1988
TAGGART, Harold Bigelow -- 62,
of 1028 Cole Harbour Rd., Dartmouth, and formerly of Glenholme, died Monday in Camp Hill Hospital. Born in Lower Debert, he was the son of the late Fred and Katherine (Bigelow) Taggart. He had been a resident of Dartmouth for the past 12 years. He was employed wlth Whebby Construction Company and was a volunteer probation officer. He was a veteran of the Second World War, having served with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He is survived by a son, Greg, Digby; two daughters, Karen Lee (Mrs. Randy Peterson), Victoria, BC; Marshia (Mrs. David Julien), Dartmouth; two brothers, WiIliam, Glenholme, David, London, Ont; a sister, Jean (Mrs. Thomas Cook), Debert; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Carol Hansen; a sister, Betty.
The body has been cremated. Memorial service held 2PM Thur. from Erskine United Church, Glenholme, Rev David Chisling officiating. Burial will be in Folly Cemetery, Glenholme. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society, or any charity.
