60th Anniversary notice

15197.6691    Daniel Sylvester ⁹ BIGELOW, son of George Royal ⁸ ( Daniel ⁷ ( Jotham ⁶ , Joel ⁵, Jotham ⁴, John ³, Samuel ², John ¹) and Edith May (SYLVESTER) BIGELOW, was born at Olympia, Thurston, WA on 28 June 1911. He married Mary Ann Campbell on 14 (16?) October 1935. She was born about 1913, and died 09 April 2005 age 92 and Daniel S. died 26 July 2005 age 94, both at Olympia. They are buried in Forest Memorial Cemetery, Olympia. Newspaper notice, "The Olympian", Sunday, October, 8, 1995:
     Bigelows celebrate 60th; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Sylvester Bigelow will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open celebration 2-4 p.m. Oct 14, 1995, at the First United Methodist Church, hosted by their family.
     Daniel Sylvester Bigelow and Mary Ann Campbell were married Oct. 14, 1935. The couple, who met in the choir of the United Methodist Temple in Seattle, returned to the old Bigelow House, where they still reside.
     Mr. Bigelow graduated from the University of Washington Law School and was an attorney for the Inheritance Tax Division of the Tax Commission. He also acted as administrative law judge for the Employment Security Department of the state. He retired in 1978. Mrs. Bigelow, a professional artist and singer, is a native of Olympia. The couple has four sons and five grandchildren.
