William Henry Bigelow "B" and his two younger brothers, Elverton and Franklin served in the Union Army from Wisconsin; William Henry and Elverton survived, but Franklin did not;
Upon their return to Wisconsin, they married sisters; Alice Marie and Mary Jane Betts
William enlisted in the Union Army 12 August 1862 and discharged 26 June 1865;
