My 3rd generation great grand mother is Emma B. Bigelow.
She was one of Emma E "Beach" Bigelow and Lebbeus Loomis Bigelow's children. I found this from searching the Converse family tree. Lots of the pages refer Lebbeus as just L.L. but Emma Beach is always right there so I know its the same. The years of birth also match up.
Emma B. later married Frank C. Ferris and had a son Warren.
Warren's full name is Warren Bigelow Ferris.
I been researching the Converse and Beach side of my family and now am trying to fill in the Bigelow surname. If you want to know some of my findings I will gladly help you build on what already have.
Was wondering if you know of any Bigelow's that would be related in central Ohio. I live in Columbus and would be interested in meeting some of my distant family since my father's side is so very small.

Here is a link to more info about LL and Emma's kids. Kinda funny Emma's 3rd or 4th great grand mother is Ruth Bigelow which means her and LL have common great grandparents. So I guess my family is a little more Bigelow in it that I thought.
Once I am done with my research I will send it to you with some source's. Not sure about this but Emma B Ferris father is refered to as "lebrans bigelowe" according to the Green Lawn cementry. Don't know if that was a nick name or what. However everthing else I found states him as LL or by his full name.

My BIGELOW data is currently in the form of notes and letters collected by my great grandmother Adda Timmons MOSS in the 1890's. Perhaps of greatest interest to you and other researchers is a copy she made of notes of an interview with Dr. Eliphaz BIGELOW (probably the Israel Eliphaz Bigelow whose bio is on your site.) He was a nephew of her grandmother Mary Milvina BIGELOW who had married William D. Daugherty. Her mother was Mary Dimmis Daugherty. Adda's uncle G. W. Darety (sic) conducted the interview. The notes include the family information on the CUSTIS (not CURTIS) family and it's connection to George Washington. I have been amazed that the misspelling of this name as CURTIS persists. Most history books speak of the CUSTIS family relations to Washington. In my mother's possession is a cloisonne and pearl pin that is supposed to have been owned/worn by Martha Washington. I have no documentation of this but have heard of this and the CUSTIS family since I was a child. My grandfather, Adda's son had told the story. Finding the notes was both exciting and disappointing. Exciting because it leant credence to the pin's story; disappointing because it showed no direct relation to the CUSTIS family. Eliphaz's notes also include the battle his greatgrandfather Isaac was supposed to have been in the Rev War. I too, have had no luck finding his service.

I am a Great Grandson of Emily Irene Bigelow (15923.7464). I would like to make some corrections: First, her name is Emily Irene Bigelow b. 23 Jun 1863, Plain City, Madison, OH; d. 13 Mar 1929, Milford Center, OH (I have the obituary, written by my grandmother (Bessie Sofia Morford). Emily was married 22 Oct 1878 in Chuckery, Union, OH to Robert Forest Morford. Emily and Robert had 4 children: Bessie Sofia Morford b. 16 Aug 1882 and Lebus Bigelow Morford b. 6 Oct 1884 and Theodore Morford (No date) and Orrie Morford (No date). Emily's parents were Lebbeus (Loomis) Loomus Bigelow b. 18 Aug 1834 and Emma E Beach b. 7 Jan 1837.
Hope this helps. I can provide a lot more in both directions as I have almost 17,000 names and documentations, so far, in my research. Would be glad to share that information. I also have pictures. Be careful with my email as it is spelled differently than my name.

Her is the Emily Irene Bigelow's obituary:

"Mrs. Emily Irene (Bigelow) Morford, was born at Plain City, Madison County, June 23, 1863, and was the daughter of Mr, Lebus and Emily (Beech) Bigelow.
"Departed this life Wednesday morning the break of day about 4 o'clock, March 13th of heart trouble at the age of 65 years, 8 months, and 23 days.
"On October 22nd 1878 she was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Forest Morford of Chukckery, Union County, sharing together their joys and sorrows and perplexities of this life for over fifty years, they having celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Four children were born to this union - three sons, leb Bigelow Morford, who departed this life April 17 1925, two sons Orrie and Theodore who died in infancy, and one daughter Mrs. Bessie Easterday at whose home the remains were brought for the last sad funeral rites.
"The departed has been a resident of Milford Center for a number of years. She leaves a kind and devoted husband, one daughter Mrs. Bessie Easterday, one brother Marsh Bigelow, Two sisters Mrs. Emma Ferris and Mrs. Ella Boyd of Columbus - one sister proceeded her in death. Three grand daughters Mrs. daisy M Caracciolo of Cuyahago Falls, Miss Cleta Easterday of Richwood, and Mrs. Irene Davis, one grandson Danny Morford of Columbus, two great grand daughters Wanda Iliene Davis, Rosalia Bessie Caracciolo and one great grandson Forest Davis.
"She leaves many relatives and friends who mourn the loss of a much loved one. She united with the Christian Church about 35 years ago under the pastorate of Rev. Higgins, was also a member of the Christian Church Aid Society. She was a faithful attendant as long as her health permitted.
"In the closing scenes of life she passed through intense suffering. but she remained a spirit of patience and cheerfulness. She had a radiant smile for all who came to see her and expressed her appreciation for the many acts of kindness shown to her to alleviate her suffering. Her strong Christian character is a benediction to her friends and neighbors to whom she was ever ready to lend a helping hand. many times she told her friends at her bedside she was ready to go. She hated to go and leave her companion, her home, and family. She had been a devoted mother and grandmother to Irene and Danny, rearing them to womanhood and manhood. May the God of all comfort, strengthen, the bereaved ones and heal the aching hearts.
"Mother's passed into the silence, she has laid the burden down,
Freed from all earth's cares and sorrows she waits the heavenly crown.
Passed beyond the earthly vision, perfect rest is hers in store;
She has done with pain and sickness, wearing waiting, all is o'er!

Folded are the hands so silent, on the cold and pulseless breast;
Hand that ever were so busy, now forever are at rest.
Closed the eyes that ne'er will open on the dreariness of night,
But they'll see the face of Jesus, in the day of life and light.
