I am a Great Grandson of Emily Irene Bigelow (15923.7464). I would like to make some corrections: First, her name is Emily Irene Bigelow b. 23 Jun 1863, Plain City, Madison, OH; d. 13 Mar 1929, Milford Center, OH (I have the obituary, written by my grandmother (Bessie Sofia Morford). Emily was married 22 Oct 1878 in Chuckery, Union, OH to Robert Forest Morford. Emily and Robert had 4 children: Bessie Sofia Morford b. 16 Aug 1882 and Lebus Bigelow Morford b. 6 Oct 1884 and Theodore Morford (No date) and Orrie Morford (No date). Emily's parents were Lebbeus (Loomis) Loomus Bigelow b. 18 Aug 1834 and Emma E Beach b. 7 Jan 1837.
Hope this helps. I can provide a lot more in both directions as I have almost 17,000 names and documentations, so far, in my research. Would be glad to share that information. I also have pictures. Be careful with my email as it is spelled differently than my name.

"Mrs. Emily Irene (Bigelow) Morford, was born at Plain City, Madison County, June 23, 1863, and was the daughter of Mr, Lebus and Emily (Beech) Bigelow.
	"Departed this life Wednesday morning the break of day about 4 o'clock, March 13th of heart trouble at the age of 65 years, 8 months, and 23 days.
	"On October 22nd 1878 she was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Forest Morford of Chukckery, Union County, sharing together their joys and sorrows and perplexities of this life for over fifty years, they having celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Four children were born to this union - three sons, leb Bigelow Morford, who departed this life April 17 1925, two sons Orrie and Theodore who died in infancy, and one daughter Mrs. Bessie Easterday at whose home the remains were brought for the last sad funeral rites.
	"The departed has been a resident of Milford Center for a number of years. She leaves a kind and devoted husband, one daughter Mrs. Bessie Easterday, one brother Marsh Bigelow, Two sisters Mrs. Emma Ferris and Mrs. Ella Boyd of Columbus -  one sister proceeded her in death. Three grand daughters Mrs. daisy M Caracciolo of Cuyahago Falls, Miss Cleta Easterday of Richwood, and Mrs. Irene Davis, one grandson Danny Morford of Columbus, two great grand daughters Wanda Iliene Davis, Rosalia Bessie Caracciolo and one great grandson Forest Davis.
	"She leaves many relatives and friends who mourn the loss of a much loved one. She united with the Christian Church about 35 years ago under the pastorate of Rev. Higgins, was also a member of the Christian Church Aid Society. She was a faithful attendant as long as her health permitted.
	"In the closing scenes of life she passed through intense suffering. but she remained a spirit of patience and cheerfulness. She had a radiant smile for all who came to see her and expressed her appreciation for the many acts of kindness shown to her to alleviate her suffering. Her strong Christian character is a benediction to her friends and neighbors to whom she was ever ready to lend a helping hand. many times she told her friends at her bedside she was ready to go. She hated to go and leave her companion, her home, and family. She had been a devoted mother and grandmother to Irene and Danny, rearing them to womanhood and manhood. May the God of all comfort, strengthen, the bereaved ones and heal the aching hearts.
	"Mother's passed into the silence, she has laid the burden down,
	Freed from all earth's cares and sorrows she waits the heavenly crown.
	Passed beyond the earthly vision, perfect rest is hers in store;
	She has done with pain and sickness, wearing waiting, all is o'er!

	Folded are the hands so silent, on the cold and pulseless breast;
	Hand that ever were so busy, now forever are at rest.
	Closed the eyes that ne'er will open on the dreariness of night,
	But they'll see the face of Jesus, in the day of life and light.

	Oh, this earthly life is fleeting, and the days pass swiftly by;
	Soon the struggle will be ended, and we, too must fade and die.
	Then may we, like Sister Morford, when the shadow o'er us creep,
	Trust our Savior's love and mercy, for he gives His beloved sleep.
