John Boyce 8 BIGELOW

1592C.356      John Boyce 8  BIGELOW, son of Amasa 7 ( Daniel 6 , Amasa 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and  Phoebe (BOYCE) BIGELOW, was born at Columbia, Marquette co., WI on 01 April 1850.  He was in CA as early as 1853 with his parents and married Sarah Elizabeth Wemple at Gridley, Butte co., CA on 30 December 1875.  She was born on 30 December 1855 in McHenry co., IL, the daughter of Harry and Terresa (Smiley) Wemple.  John was a vineyardist and died at Selma, Fresno, CA on 16 September 1927.  Sarah had died two months earlier on 16 July 1927 at Selma.  Both are buried at North Selma cemetery.

1592C.3563     Bertha Alice, b 17 May 1882 Selma; d 30 June 1917 Selma; m 02 Oct 1912 Albert Ross Hartley; 1 child, John - no data.
