"Eugene Bigelow; born July 11 (14?), 1837; died Feb 9, 1893"
15336.433    Eugene 8  BIGELOW, son of  Robert 7 (Benjamin 6 , Paul 5 , Cornelius 4, Samuel 3, Samuel 2, John 1) and Elizabeth (RICHARD)* BIGELOW, was born at Jacksonville, FL on 11 July 1837 and married Anna Frances Turknett on 31 March 1862. Anna was born on 14 June 1840 and died on 14 October 1876. His second marriage was to Lillie F. Summerall on 06 February 1879. She was born 25 August 1858. They resided in Jacksonville where he was engaged in agriculture and orange groves. No death particulars. * The mother was Elizabeth Ann Brown (not Broadalbane) according to new sources and she was daughter of Rebeckah Hart Richard and John B. (Juan Batiste) Richard. She was born 2 Dec 1805 on the South bank of the St Johns River, East Florida. She was previously married to Thomas Brown, Jr. according to LDS records.

"On June 11, 1891. An Act was passed by the Legislature authorizing Duval co. to improve navigation on St. John's River. The trustees named in the act were: George S. Wilson, Joseph H. Durkee, John S. Fairheade, Daniel G. Ambler, John C. Cooper, Joel D. Mead, E.C. Pickett, Eugene Bigelow, Max Hirschman, W.a. Adams, Davis Kemp, and E.W. Gillen."
