Ellen Persis 8 BIGELOW


15336.5E1      Ellen Persis 8 BIGELOW, dau of  Charles Nelson 7 ( Cornelius 6 , Paul 5 , Cornelius 4, Samuel 3, Samuel 2, John1 and Clarinda (WILTSE) BIGELOW, was born at Ashford, Cattaraugus, NY on 12 June 1843. At the age of 11 she moved with her parents to Eaton county, MI and was married there on 19 August 1862 to Horace Wickwire. He died on 23 May 1865 after having one son. In 1870, Ellen appears on the census in her parent's home. In 1905, she married George A. Bowser, a widower and Civil War Veteran. He was the son of John and Cecilia (Monkman) Bowser (see below) and born in Canada on 25 July 1836 and died near Coopersville, Ottawa co, MI on 26 November 1920. She died on 24 April 1937 at Chester township (Coopersville) and is buried at Ravenna cemetery, Ravenna, MI.

I believe there is a sister called Grace Bowser who married Thomas Snodden in 1867 (King Twp) they are buried in Atherley Cemetery, Atherly Ontario Canada. Their mother is Cecelia.
