Charles Amos 8 BIGELOW

15321.577    Charles Amos 8 BIGELOW, son of  Silas 7 ( Humphrey 6 , Samuel 5 , Samuel 4, Samuel 3, Samuel 2, John 1) and Silence (PIERCE) BIGELOW, was born at Sutton, MA on 03 October 1834 and married on 14 February 1856 Mary Caroline Patch who was born in Worcester, Worcester, MA on 10 September 1836(1834?). (She was the daughter of John A. and Mary Caroline (Caroline Mary) (Tyler) Patch. Her mother was Mary Caroline (Tyler) Patch (see below) and was born 10 Feb 1815 and died at Worcester about 1870. Her father was born 03 Nov 1805 at Worcester, and his will probated in 1853.)
From 1858 to 1868, Charles and his family lived in Texas. They returned to Worcester where he was engaged in the mercantile business and died there on 23 April 1885. His wife had died earlier - on 10 August 1883.
