15321.5 Humphrey 6 BIGELOW, son
of Samuel 5(Samuel 4( Samuel
3, Samuel 2, John 1)and Phebe (RAND) BIGELOW,
was born 04 September 1761 at Shrewsbury, Worcester county, MA. He married
(1) on 20 December 1786 Mary Underwood of Westford, born 1767 and died
06 October 1789, leaving two children. Humphrey then married (2) on 26
October 1791 at Grafton, Hannah Whipple, daughter of Capt. Moses and Catherine
(Forbush) Whipple. She was born 05 October 1771 at Grafton, and outlived
Humphrey to die 05 January 1848 at Worcester, MA. Humphrey served in the
Revolutionary War, and his widow Hannah claimed a pension [W14304]. They
lived in Shrewsbury until 1804, when they moved to Charlton, where they
lived several years, later at Sutton and Westford, then back to Shrewsbury,
where he died 02 October 1842. He is buried in Hope cemetery, Worcester
county, MA.

Watertown MA abt
1632. Catherine married Joel Fay 2 Nov 1818, Sutton MA, and had
the following children:
Hannah Catharine b. 1825; Joel Henry b. 1827; Charles T. b. 1828
and Maria b. 1830, d.
Mar 1912. A direct-line descendant of Joel Henry, I am looking
for information on his
sister, Maria, who is believe to have been a life long resident
of MA.
Joel Fay was the son of Charles Fay (b 12 July 1766; d 07 Sept 1818)
and Deborah (Lyon) (b 1766?; d 15 Nov 1815); all residents of Shrewsbury.
Charles and Deborah were married 07 Sept 1818.
