Hi Rod, I've accessing the Bigelow page and as I'm a novice with computers can't figure out how to put a inquiry up on the site: I'm interested in Oliver G. Bigelow of Ashford, Cattaraugus Co., N.Y.; his first wife was Mary Elizabeth Russell, his second wife was my direct line grandmother several times removed: Julia (Bartlett)O'Brien. I have some info on them but would like to find deaths and burials etc. Can you help?
Here's what I have: NEW
My Bigelow/O'Brien connection is this; My great grandfather is David Edward O'Brien, he was born 28 Nov., 1859, in New York, where in N.Y. I have yet to discover; his father was Edward O'Brien, his mother was Julia May Bartlett; shortly after Davids' birth his father left he and his mother never to return or be heard from again. Julia remarried Oliver G. Bigelow sometime after his lst. wifes' death and the birth of Julia and Olivers' lst. daughter, Grace S. who was 7 years old on the 1880 census of Cattaraugus Co., N.Y . city of Ashford, her sisters, Glynn/Glennie H. and Gertrude M. are also on the census, Glynn age: 5, Gertrude, age:3 all three listed as born in N.Y. also on that census are Perry G. Bigelow age:16, son; Albert A., age:14 son. Both born N.Y. My son also found the Bigelows before Julia on the 1860 and 1870 census' of Cattaraugus co., N.Y. at the Family History Lib. in Salt Lake City, Utah. On the 1870 census the daughter of Oliver and Mary; Clarimon and her husband Henry Andrus were also living with them.
Now, on the 1880 census for Benzie Co., Mi. I found Clarimon/Clarisenis (Sp.?) and Henry Andrus with her brothers; one Alphonzo Bigelow and my great grandfather David Edward O'Brien listed as Henrys' brothers-in-law. I found Henry and Clarimon Andrus again on the 1884 census for Benzie co., MI. Neither Alphonzo nor David were listed with them. David had married  in 1882 to Lillian Barbara Luther; I have their genealogy done from that point. Listed with Henry and Clarisenia on the 1884 census was a dau. , Susie; age:14, born in Mi. On the census it said Henry and Clarisenia had been in MI. for 5 years; wonder where Susie was in 1880? In 1893 Henry mrrd. Etta M.?; found them on the 1894 census for Benzie co., MI. they had a son born in 1896. I found no more records of Clarisenia or Susie in Mi. from that census in 1884.
Misc. info that I have is that Alphonzo Bigelow died in Ingham co., MI and that his brother Frank Bigelow is buried in the New Okemos Cemetary in Okemos, Mi. I haven't researched these items. Also, I have info that Grace S. Bigelow mrrd. Fred Hall,they had a son named Devillo; Glynn mrrd. Andrew Drew and Gertude mrrd. Bert Healey. I haven't researched these items either. Well I think that's what I have to contribute, if I've left questions unanswered let me know and if I can answer them I will.

As I mentioned in my earlier info I gave you on the extended family of Oliver Bigelow I could never find his dau. Clarimond but found her husband remarried; have now found a Clarimond Andrus on a Inland Township Cem. list of Benzie Co., MI according to that list she died in 1892, I haven't confirmed the death date yet but am nearly certain it is Olivers' dau. who married Henry Andrus as she is buried with several other Andrus family members. Will let you know if I find her death record.

 Rod, I wrote to appr. two years ago with some Bigelow info: I have a little more for you.
I have found info on Clarimond M. Bigelow, dau of Oliver G. Bigelow and his lst. wife Elizabeth.
I found Clarimond on the 1850 Census of Cattaraugus co., N.Y. with her parents as a 4 year old; on the 1860 Catt. Census as a 14 yr. old; on the 1865 Catt. Co. census as a 19 year old. I next find her on the 1880 Censu of Benzie Co., Mich. with her husband, Henry D. Andrus  at the age of 34. I have recently found her burial record; she was buried in the Inland Township Cem., of Benzie Co., Mich. she was listed as a resident of Inland at her death, Her burial date was 27 Mar., 1892; I can't find a death record as yet. To my knowledge she and Henry Andrus had no children although Henry remarried and had a couple by his 2nd. wife. I will continue to look for a death record for Clarimond and will send if I do find it.
