and Catherine (SWEENEY) BIGELOW, was born at Chatham township, Argenteuil,
Quebec on in June 1838 according to 1900 census. He was a blacksmith and
in 1866 moved with his half-brother, David W., to IA. On 20 August 1868
he married Mary J. Yoder at Waverly, Bremer, IA. She was born on 04 January
1843 at Stephenson county, IL. Both of her parents were born in PA but
we don't have their names. By 1897 he was in Montrose, McCook, SD and was
in the 1900 census there and in September 1901 sold his property and disappears
from the records. Mary had died on 0l March 1888 at Waverly and is buried
at Harlington cemetery there.
