Charles Day 7 BIGELOW


16352.37     Charles Day 7 BIGELOW, son of  James 6 ( Jonathan 5,  Asa 4, Lieut. John 3, Joshua 2, John 1) , and Anna (DAY) BIGELOW, was born about 1805 at Colchester, New London, CT. At Halifax, VT on 08 June 1830 he married Salome L. Wilcox and was "of Whately, MA" at the time. We determine the birth year of Charles and that of Salome (1810) as well as those of the children from the 1850 census. Salome's place of birth is given as MA. (see below)Charles died at Colchester 18 August 1870 - one record states 1875.

Charles Day 7 BIGELOW, son of  James 6 , m Salome L., dau of Lucius Wilcox of Connecticut, res. in Whately many years. Three children:
1. James, b ca 1832, killed by the kick of a horse.
2. Nancy Jane, b 10 June 1834; m Walter Barnard of Whately.
3. Lucius Wilcox, b 18 May 1841; m 9 Feb 1874 Geraldine D. Gilette of Simsbury, CT, where he resides.
