son of Charles 6 ( Charles 5 , Joseph
4, John 3, Samuel 2, John 1),
and Sarah (MOORE) BIGELOW, was born at Northborough, Worcester, MA
0l February 1810. He married (1) 05 June 1833 Mary Elizabeth Bartlett, the
daughter of Jonathan and Rachel (Rice) Bartlett, born at Northborough 26
December 1812 and died 02 May 1848 Grafton, MA. He married (2) 14 March 1849
Eliza J. Whittemore born 02 August 1824. He moved to Grafton early and engaged
in tanning and currying and, like his brother, Edward B., became prominent
in town affairs representing the town in the General Court and was chosen
a member of the Senate in the Fall of 1875, but died before the session commenced
- 30 November 1875.
