Hello Rod,
My name is Sheila Bigelow Gagnon and I have enjoyed following the
Bigelow Society.
Recently I found an entry that has me questioning my
ancestory. I'm hoping you can help me investigate the entry
or lead me in the right direction.
Orrin Ellis Bigelow
The entry states (My Great Grandfather), Orrin Ellis Bigelow,
married Alice Wallis (or Alice Wells or Alice Wellis, I found the
spelling in 3 different places) January 20, 1883 and had a
son, T Glen Alva, my uncle. The date of birth
is not listed. Orrin later married Sally West on May 22,
1888. All of our family records state that T Glen Alva
Bigelow is the son of Sally West Bigelow and Orrin E. Bigelow.

When Orrin Ellis Bigelow was born on 6 December 1858, in
Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, United States, his father,
Ezra James Bigelow, was 28 and his mother, Caroline M
Bennett, was 29. He married Sallie Jean West on 22 May
1888, in Ogden, Weber, Utah Territory, United States. They
were the parents of at least 3 sons and 2 daughters. He
lived in Michigan, United States in 1870. He died on 24
January 1900, in Thistle, Utah, Utah, United States, at
the age of 41, and was buried in Ogden City Cemetery,
Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States.
