Ephraim ⁵ BIGELOW

 16324.     Ephraim ⁵ BIGELOW, son of John ⁴ (Liutenant John ³,Joshua², John¹), and Sarah (BATE) BIGELOW, was born in Colchester, New London co., CT 21 Aug 1740. He married 23 Feb 1769 Mary WATERS, born Hebron 14 Nov 1744, daughter of Adam and Mary (_____) WATERS. Ephraim died in Colchester 24 Sep 1775, leaving 2 children. On 22 Apr 1776 his widow was appointed administrator of the estate. The amount was L 213-19-7.

16324.2       Ephraim Bate, b 19 May 1772; d 29 Jun 1839 Wolcott, NY; m 7 Nov 1792 (at Hoosick, NY) Anne WAY. When Ephraim was 7 years old he was bound out at Litchfield, CT, but ran away at age 19, and settled at Hoosick, NY, and in 1817 moved to Wolcott. 13 children.
