This James and Millard are given to be the brothers Jess or Jesse. So it all fits. Problem- I've looked and looked to find a Mary Gustus or Mary Bigelow or Biglow in the state census for IA, KS, NE... and in the federal census IA, NE, KS in both 1900 and 1910 and have not yet found anyone. This seems odd. Maybe we are misreading the Gustus name??? or the family is split up because Paul died??? Not sure.... will have to keep looking. Did located Millard Begelow in 1900 Belle Parairie Fillmore Co NE... wife Clara son Dewitt... also found them in later census 1910 Sharon Springs Wallace co, KS and 1920 Payette Payette Co ID. Had a dead end on James, the older brother. Jesse apparently had a first wife named Nettie (WWI Draft Card) then was listed as widowed in the 1920... other researches give his 2nd wife as Judith Peterson which fits with the 1930 Council Bluff Pottawattamie Co IA census.

On 19 June 1925 at Arlington, Snohomish, WA, he married Grace Louise Bartels. She was born 22 August 1903 at Everett, Snohomish co, WA and died 23 October 1982 at Seattle, King co, WA. Grace was daughter of George Stanley and Leopoltia Grace (Kuhn) Bartels. Dwight E. Bigelow, Sr. died 27 July 1979 at Seattle, King co, WA.

St. Clair co, IL, he married Reba Seetin, daughter of George Jackman and Irene (Harrison) Seetin. Reba was born 16 April 1928 at Lawrence, Kansas. Reba was a housewife and artist. Dwight Ernest Jr., was an Air Force Officer in the U. S. Air Force. He was stationed in California in 1952, Wyoming 1952-3, Texas 1953, IL 1954, Italy 1963-67, MS 1967-68, WA 1968-1970, AK 1970-71, WA 1971-75 and has resided at Seattle, WA since 1971.
They were parents of three sons.
