'Bud' Bigelow
REEDSVILLE - Timothy L. "Bud" Bigelow, 85, of Honey Creek Lane,
Reedsville, died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, at his
residence.
Born Jan. 12, 1914, in Altoona, he was a son of the late Frank
E. and Mary (Randolph) Bigelow. His wife, Geraldine (Hoffman)
Bigelow, whom he married in 1935, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Timothy L. Bigelow Jr., Reedsville;
one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, one sister and one
granddaughter.
He was retired from Standard Steel, Burnham.
He was a member of East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church,
Reedsville, the Elks Lodge 663, a life member of the Independent
Order of Odd Fellows, the UCT 591, and the Nest Order of Owls of
Lewistown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Barr Funeral Home,
120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Charles McGaha
officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery,
Reedsville.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services
Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marilyn O.
Bigelow, 89, a resident of The Winds at Mattern Orchard and a
lifelong resident of Duncansville, died Tuesday evening at
Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus, after a
brief illness.
She was born at home in Duncansville, daughter of the late Dean
and Orpha (Koon) Kephart. She married Melvin M. Bigelow Aug. 26,
1940, in Cumberland, Md. He died Sept. 11, 1978.
Surviving are two daughters: Linda Meyers and husband, Karl, and
Donna Noel Blair and husband, Charles; seven grandchildren: Eric
Noel (Cindy), Scott Noel (Julie), Kim Meyers, Kevin Meyers
(Stephanie), Jill Noel May (Mason), Ann Meyers Mytinger (John)
and Susan Meyers Zangrilli (Jason); 15 great-grandchildren; and
six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son-in-law, Thomas
Noel; granddaughter, Lisa Meyers Audet; great-grandson, Ethan
Noel; sister, Adelaide Kahley; and brother, Carl Kephart.
Mrs. Bigelow was a 1936 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Mrs. Bigelow was a member of Hicks United Methodist Church,
where she was in the Grace Koon Sunday school class.
Service Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at Hicks United Methodist Church,
Duncansville, officiated by the Rev. Rich Morris. Interment at
Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, PA.
