He married on 22 December 1881 Laura Jenner and had 4 children. (Edwin Thomas b. Oct. 1852 (1900 census NE) m. Laura Jenner 12/22/1881 Rush Co. IN. (b. ca. 1865, IN.
( Laura Jenner Bigelow died 14 May 1894 from measles at age 28).(see below)
Her father- Alfred Jenner b. ca. 1832 England; Mother-Rhoda A. Trindle b. ca. 1840, IN)(see below). He married second on 03 July 1905 Lucy May Floyd and had 4? more children.(see below). Lucy May was born 16 May 1877 Westport, NY, dau of Warren Albert and Sarah Maria (Fenwick) Floyd. Edwin was a grain elevator manager, and also Postmaster for 24 yrs. He died 12/13 June 1936 at Smithfield, Gosper co, NE. Lucy May died 16 March 1966 Smithfield, NE. Both are buried Highland Cemetery, Bertrand, NE. Edwin's obituary on file in Big Soc Library.

I am doing a search on the Bigelow family for a friend of mine. I have a copy of a letter that was orally given by Lucy May Bigelow to her daughter Marla Mae Carter when Lucy was 87 yrs old in 1964. In the letter she tells of John Bigelow marrying Mary Warren and of their son Joshua's marriage to Elizabeth Flegg. Then there seems to be a generation missing and she says, "Your great great grandfather Henry Bigelow born in 1794 and your great great grandmother, Julia Levanway was born in 1806. They were descendants of some of the colonists Bigelow." Can you tell me how this Henry and Julia were related to John and Mary or if they were even related at all? Also, I did some extensive research on the LDS Site and was tracing the
Warren Line, before I found you and your site. Can you tell me if a William De Warren really married Gundried Princess Of England in abt 1077 and if her lineage goes back as far as 190??? You may not know the answers to all these questions, but I wanted to ask to be sure. I don't want to give my girlfriend alot of wrong information, and I am fairly new with the genealogy, but run into very nice people that are more than willing to help. Thank you for any information you can give me on these people.

Hi Rod. I have a handwritten obit my grandfather Alfred Rufus Bigelow wrote himself in 1954. It had Bigelow family info.
Edwin Thomas Bigelow married to Laura Jenner.
They had 4 children:
           Caroline b. 1884; d. 1886
           Alfred Rufus b. 1885 d. 1955;
           Nettie Theo b. 1887-married a Williams ; moved to CA
     and Ethel Ray b. 1890- married a Mason; moved to CA
Laura Jenner Bigelow died 1894 from measles at age 28.
Edwin Thomas went on to marry Lucy May Floyd.
Their children are: Doris;
                           Lois- b. 9 Jun 1906 d.26 Sep 1998- married a Carter;
                          Harold and Howard (twins).
Don't have all their birthdates. I have a picture of Harold and Howard as children and a picture of an elderly Edwin Thomas w/ wife Lucy. 
Lucy May (Floyd) Bigelow had no daughter named Marla Mae Carter. Her daughter Lois married a Carter so maybe Marla Mae is a granddaughter??
