I have just spent over 11 hours of the past 30 trying to find information
about my ancestors that I just know exists out there somewhere on the
internet! I'm looking especially for my Grandfather Bigelow, Edward Bigelow
b. 1869 in Mundy Twp., Michigan m. Anna Eliza Gibson in 1898, d. 1941.
I'd like to go back to John Biglo and Mary Warren in Wrentham, England.
I've seen all of this years ago but have lost the information.
George O. Bigelow was my father's Uncle George; I've been to the
old Bigelow house in Mundy Township within the past two years with my 93
y/o father, and remember Ed Bigelow's (Grandpa Bigelow's) funeral in Oakland
County. James Bigelow was Ed's father who left the family and relocated
to Wisconsin (my great grandfather). Ed Bigelow married Anna Gibson, etc.,
etc. For whatever it's worth, I now have in custody over 100 years' worth
of Bigelow family photographs, recently given me by Dad, Donald Warren Bigelow.
I hope to have them all cataloged and begin sharing them in the next few
months, as time permits. Most of these Bigelows are Michiganians but many
of them lived also in California, Alaska, New Hampshire, and other states
for some years. I was just curious about the 'not valid' thingie. :-)
