16251.377      George Quincy 8 BIGELOW, son of  George 7 ( George 6  , James 5 , James 4 , Jonathan 3, Joshua 2, John 1), and Martha (BOARDMAN) BIGELOW, was born at Skowhegan, (then Bloomfield) Somerset co., ME on 14 November 1843.  Incomplete data shows he married 29 March 1866 Amanda Hilton. She was born 14 November 1843 at Cornville, ME.  They resided in Cornville and had, at least: (see below)

 3.  GEORGE B.10 BIGELOW (GEORGE QUINCY  9, GEORGE 8, GEORGE 7, JAMES 6, JAMES 5, JONATHAN 4, JOSHUA 3, JOHN 2, RANDALL 1) was born September 1868 in Skowhegan, Somerset County, Maine.  He married MINNIE E. MCCOY Abt. 1895, daughter of ERNEST MCCOY and EMMA L..  She was born October 1875 in Maine.

       

Children of GEORGE BIGELOW and MINNIE MCCOY are:

 

                   i.    ERNEST Q.11 BIGELOW, b. February 13, 1898, Massachusetts.

                  ii.    CORA E. BIGELOW, b. 1901, Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts; m. RUSSELL DAVID BUTLER; b. June 1888, Pelham, Hillsboro County, New Hampshire, son of GEORGE SULLIVAN BUTLER & ABBIE E. SPEAR.        

 

Note:  GEORGE B. (BOARDMAN?) BIGELOW. (good chance this is his middle name)

RUSSELL DAVID BUTLER, is my 2nd cousin, twice removed.  His grandmother was MARY ANN RUSSELL, b. 1804, Carlisle, MA., dau of JAMES RUSSELL, 111, and MARY ANN BUTLER, dau of JOSEPH BUTLER & MARY KIDDER.
