Ebenezer William ⁸ BIGELOW

15336.54B Ebenezer William ⁸ BIGELOW jr, son of Ebenezer ⁷ ( Cornelius ⁶ , Paul ⁵, Cornelius ⁴, Samuel ³, Samuel ², John¹) and Ellen (BLAIR) BIGELOW, was born at Chatham township, Argenteuil, Quebec on 23 August 1852 according to Howe's, Bigelow Family of America, although his baptismal record differs slightly from this date. He was married on 0l September 1885 to Elizabeth Graham. She was the daughter of Joseph and Eliza (Young) Graham and born 15 September 1858. Her headstone at Calumet indicates that she died on "07 May 1930 in her 72nd year". This family lived in the Calumet-Grenville, Quebec, area. Ebenezer died in November 1941? after a lifetime of farming. Death of Ebenezer found to be 07 May 1941 at Calumet. This family had corresponded with Gilman Bigelow Howe, the first Bigelow family genealogist.

15336.54B7 Ellen Jane, b 23 Aug 1901; d 26 April 1976 Niagara, Ontario; second wife of Walter MacVicar; no children but she raised the two oldest children of her brother Gilman.:
