Blake Theopolis 8  BIGELOW



16228.917     Blake Theopolis 8  Bigelow, son of Rev. Andrew Frank 7 ( James Call 6 , Joel 5, Benjamin 4, Jonathan 3, Joshua2, John1) and Marion (PURMONT) BIGELOW, was born in Bangor NY on 24 May 1861.  He married Edith Elmira Pierce on 14 March 1896. She was born 13 November 1875 at Potsdam, NY.  He was a physician who graduated from the University of Vermont and practiced his medicine in Buffalo, and then Malone, NY.  He died 13 September 1906 at Boston and is buried at North Lawrence, NY.  His widow died at Syracuse, NY on 19 March 1934.  Very incomplete records on his 5 (?) children and we can only prove 1:

Hello....I really enjoyed the photo of my great-great-grandfather, Reverend Andrew Bigelow. One of his daughters, Amelia, was my great-grandmother. 16228.9171    Mabel Edith 9 Bigelow, dau of Blake Theopolis 8, (Rev. Andrew Frank 7 etc. and Edith Elmira (Pierce) Bigelow, was born at Lawrenceville, NY on 17 February 1901.  She married 16 October 1921 to Seward Andrew Hugh Stickney who was born 12 June 1898 in Stockholm, NY.  Seward died 03 September 1937 at Stockholm, NY and is buried at Jenkins Neighborhood Cemetery there. Mabel then married second Clarence Fountaine; 1 child ? Mabel died 20 June 1966 at Potsdam, NY, at Potsdam Hospital, and is buried at Haleville Cemetery at North Lawrence, NY.   2 children 1st marriage.
