Descendant note:
I am a descendant of Martha Spring 7
Bigelow, daughter of Isaac 6
Bigelow and Angeline Prentice. Isaac Bigelow's parents
were John 5 Bigelow and Lydia
Spring. Martha Spring 7 Bigelow married
Henry Schellinger and both lived in Wisconsin. They had a daughter
Mary Ellen Schellinger, my great grandmother. She married
John Cobin Martin from Mains of Craig Hall, Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire,
Scotland. His family came from Scotland in 1852. He was one
of five brothers that were veterans of the Civil War.
I really appreciate all of the information
that you have on the Bigelows. Being in Virginia does not allow me
to research much from Massachusetts. I find that this area has a
lot for people from this area but is extremely limited regarding other
states.
What do you know of a Thomas Warren, settler
of Jamestown, Virginia? I understand that the Mayflower Richard Warren
can not be officially researched to the John Warren Line?
The Schellinger line goes back to the beginnings
of New York state and has a "coat of arms" as well.
Sincerely, Sandra
