BIGELOW, was born in Canaan, (now called Skowhegan), ME on 28 May 1804.
There possibly was a first marriage between Israel and an unknown person,
at an unknown date, as he had 3 children prior to his marriage on 03 May 1848
to Elizabeth Bunker. Elizabeth was born 28 May 1828. Both Israel and Elizabeth
died after 1888. Israel S. Bigelow died 16 October 1889 Skowhegan. His
wife Elizabeth Bunker died 16 October 1905 (see below)

I was checking on some info for a friend and happened to notice you
don't appear to have the dates for Israel S and his brothers(at least some
of them)
The following are all buried together in the Skowhegan South Cem.
Esther Coburn Bigelow born Jan 16 1764 died (looks to be) Jan 16 1846; this
is first wife of Ephraim 6 ...............
Israel S Bigelow b May 28 1804 D Oct 16 1889
His wife Elizabeth Bunker died Oct 16 1905
a son I.F. b May 10 1834 died June 27 1904
J. Harlow Bigelow Jan 12 1807 to Sept 9 1901
and a Doctor Frank S Bigelow born April 3 1853 died June 11 1950
Apparently from some local history(see History House Skowhegan local
historical society for notes) the original house built by Israel(on
property left to he and J Harlow from Ephraim)stayed in the family through
Frank S until the time of his death. It appears that the house is still
standing in Skowhegan near the river.
The folks mentioned about are all on the same massive granite headstone
which is really difficult to read when wet. It is near the main street
entrance of the cemetery.
