15923.46 David 7 BIGELOW, son of Freedom 6 ( Isaac 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John 1 ) and Susanna (KATHAN) BIGELOW, was born at Ballston Spa, Saratoga, NY on 22 February 1809 - a twin. After the War of 1812, the family moved to Madison county, OH and David was married there on 29 November 1827 to Hannah Bradford. She was born __ 1810 in OH. David was a farmer and land speculator. In 1840, he was living in Brown township, Franklin county, near his parents. In 1850, he was in Moulton township, Auglaize, and later, in 1860 and 1870 he was in Logan township, Auglaize. He died at Wapakoneta 24 February 1879 and is buried in Fought cemetery near Wapakoneta. Hannah died at unknown date, but after 1870. Beside David's headstone are 4 small graves with worn, illegible small stones, as if for children. Since, in 1830, the census shows he had two daughters under 5 years of age and the next known child was born in 1834, we can assume at least 2, perhaps all 4, of these stones are for his children.

I am related to Freedom. My line goes from Freedom and his wife Susanna
Kathan to David b. 1809 who married Hannah Bradford in Madison co. OH.
David and Hannah had Manson b. 9 Feb 1843, d. 9 May 1902 in Allen Co. OH.
Manson m. Mariah Catherine Bowsher in 1874, she the dau. of Madison Bowsher
and Mariah Luckhart.
Manson and Catherine had my grandfather, Harry Lambert Bigelow b. 1898
in Auglaize Co. OH.
I am starting to scan pictures into my data. I have Mariah Catherine
Bowsher's pic, but not her husband Manson Bigelow. Would you know of someone
related to this family who might have a picture of Manson Bigelow? Or too,
any of his earlier family??????

I have information On Althina Bigelow of Ohio
I am related to the Bigelows through Althina Bigelow who
married
Henry Decker. They are my ggrandparents and they were married
in OH
in 1857 at Auglaize County.
Do you have any history on Henry? they had four children
one being
my grandfather whom they seem to have disowned because he was in
vaudeville.
I am researching the Decker side.
My dad was Harry Edward Decker- his father was Albert Decker- and Henry
Isaac Decker was his grandfather.
I am Donna Decker Jones age 75. 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I live
in Dayton Ohio.
My husband died Oct 9th 2001.
I would like to keep in touch.
