BIGELOW, was born at Auglaize co, OH on 15 February 1852. On 29
January 1874, he married Mariah Catherine Bowsher. She was also born
in the same county on 05 November 1855 and was the daughter of Madison and
Maria (Luckhart) Bowsher. He died 09 May 1902 at Lima, Allen co, OH
and his widow on 15 December 1922 at Elida, Allen co, OH. Manson is
buried in Spencerville, Allen co, OH. He had been a farmer in Auglaize
co. Many sources call him Manson, not Joshua Manson.

I am related to Freedom. My line goes from Freedom and his wife Susanna
Kathan to David b. 1809 who married Hannah Bradford in Madison co. OH. David
and Hannah had Manson b. 9 Feb 1843, d. 9 May 1902 in Allen Co. OH. Manson
m. Mariah Catherine Bowsher in 1874, she the dau. of Madison Bowsher and
Mariah Luckhart.
Manson and Catherine had my grandfather, Harry Lambert Bigelow
b. 1898 in Auglaize Co. OH.
I am starting to scan pictures into my data. I have Mariah Catherine
Bowsher's pic, but not her husband Manson Bigelow. Would you know of someone
related to this family who might have a picture of Manson Bigelow? Or
too, any of his earlier family??????

Comments: I am the granddaughter of Mabel Mae Bigelow, married name
Detrick, daughter of Madison Bigelow and Sarah Sampson, of Spencerville,
Ohio.
We are descendants of Samuel Biglo/Bigelow.

Catherine Bowsher was the first in our line to autosomal dominant piebaldism,
which has continued in our family for more than seven generations.
We have a picture of Catherine in which it is easy to see her white forelock,
though her hair had been colored dark.
It is wonderful to see her among the relatives mentioned on this page.
