He married first Minnie Hadsel (divorced 1900). His second marriage was on 23 August 1906 to Sarah Jane "Sadie" Sampson (see below). She was born 07 October 1883 at Logan Twp., Auglaize co, OH, the dau of Garrett C. and Margaret A.(Zimmerman) Sampson. She died 28 February 1966 at Spencerville, Allen co, OH. Madison was a farmer and died 20 October 1956 Spencerville, Allen co, OH. Both are buried in Spencerville Cemetery, Spencerville.

name Detrick, daughter of Madison Bigelow and Sarah Sampson, of
Spencerville, Ohio.
We are descendants of Samuel Biglo/Bigelow.

Catherine Bowsher was the first in our line to autosomal dominant
piebaldism, which has continued in our family for more than seven
generations.
We have a picture of Catherine in which it is easy to see her
white
forelock, though her hair had been colored dark.
It is wonderful to see her among the relatives mentioned on this
page.
