correction is "He married in NY state about 1840, Catherine Slick.
She was
born in NY in ~1821."
Catherine Slick was born ~1820-1821 in New York. She
was the
daughter of John (born Germany) and Mary Slick.
The Slick family moved to Salem, Steuben, Indiana in 1841.

away from
John Slick.
Also, the date of Catherine (Slick) Bigelow is written on here
