son of Guy 6 ( Asa 5, Asa 4, Lieut. John 3, Joshua 2, John 1) , and Sarah (WAITE)
BIGELOW, was born at Colchester, New London, CT on 17 January 1830.
He married Anne Putnam Brown, dau of James and (?) Putnam Brown, of Brooklyn,
CT and the great-granddaughter of Gen. Israel Putnam. She was born
on 25 July 1829. They married 13 September 1855 and resided in Colchester
on the old homestead of his father. Anne died on 27 April 1897 at Colchester
and Asa on 31 December 1904 - also Colchester.
