Alonzo D. 7 BIGELOW

15337.81      Alonzo D. 7 BIGELOW son of Zadock 6 ( Noah 5 , Cornelius 4, Samuel 3, Samuel 2, John 1)  and Polly (ACKERLY) BIGELOW, was born 22 November 1831 at Andes, Delaware, NY. He married on 14 September 1855 (one source says 14 Feb 1855) Laura Ann Gillett who was born 03 July 1838 at Putneyville, Steuben, NY the daughter of William and Julia Ann (Organ) Gillett. (see below) Alonzo was a farmer and died 14 September 1872 at LeBoeuf, Erie, PA. Laura married (2) 07 February 1891 Norman J. Murray. Both Alonzo and Laura are buried in the Evergreen cemetery, Union City, Erie, PA.

15337.813     Sylvia Octa, b 23 May 1866; d 19 Oct 1904 Union City, Erie, PA; m Marion Waldron.

15337.814     Leon Eli, b 28 Aug 1868; d 12 Feb 1944 Ft. Wayne, Allen, IN; m 18 Dec 1890 Eva Almina Walker; she m (2) William. F. McKinney.

15337.815     Minnie Violet, b 20 Oct 1870; d 16 Oct 1943 Wheaton, DuPage, IL; in 25 Jan 1890 James Edward Terrill.

Mr Bigelow, my name is Dick Brownell and I am researching the Organ Family. On your web site you have
listed a Julia Ann (Organ)Gillett as the mother of Laura Ann Gillett, wife of Alonzo. I was curious as to
whether you may have additional information on Julia Ann? It is likely that her grandfather was Cornelius
Organ, Va 4th Light Dragoons. I believe I can connect her once I find her Death Cert; supposedly she died
in 1906. Any idea if it was NY or PA?
