William Henry 8 BIGELOW

1592C.135      William Henry 8 BIGELOW, son of  Samuel 7 ( Ebenezer 6 , Amasa 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John1)  and  Rebecca (COX) BIGELOW, was born on 0l June 1844 at Port Hope, Durham, Ontario. He married 1864 Mary Palmer, b 12 June 1844, Hope, d 03 March 1938 Holland, Manitoba. She was the daughter of Mathew and Thomaszin (Bullied) Palmer. William died 06 Dec 1913 Holland, Manitoba, bur. Brookdale cem., Holland;  9 children with more detailed information on this family in Bigelow Society Library:

     My name is Darlene E Biglow, and I can start with my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother: Samuel Edwin Biglow Born 1869 Died 1951, married Eccy Lucinda Taylor Born 1875 Died 1965. The e in the biglow name was thought to have been left off due to no room on grain silo and a possible Italian background has been suggested. They had 8 children:
1     William J,
2     Luvia L,
3     Charlotte,
4     Victor, children:
                1.Billie, m ___ Stanley
                2.Linda, m _____ Hearn.
                3.Una, m _____ Cook.(see below)

5     Everton Clair, m Mabel Lampard
6     Eunice J,
7     Mable L,
8     Harvey Neil Biglow who is still alive.

My Grandfather is Everton Clair Biglow who is married to Mabel Lampard both deceased.

4 May 1998, Don Bigelow of Grand Rapids wrote Una Cook, 14300 Trillium Blvd., SE #29, Mill Creek, WA 98012, asking for roots for database etc.  Her reply:
"I am Linda Bigelow Hearn's sister.  She has article on page 30 of the latest Forge.  We have one other sister, Billie Bigelow Stanley.  Our father was Victor Bigelow (Samuel Edwin, William Henry, Samuel) so far that's the best we can do.  We have not been able to tie Samuel to John Biglo.  Hope this is sufficient........regards, Una Cook".
