and Nancy (NICHOLS) BIGELOW, was born at Belleville, Jefferson
co, NY on 13 May 1838 and married 12 (15?) October 1858 Harriet E. Rounds.
She was the daughter of Mason and Almira Woodward Rounds and born 08 July
1835, Ellisburg (?), NY. They resided in Watertown, NY where he was very
prominent: Special Surrogate, 1857; District Attorney, 1862; a Member of
the Assembly, 1867 and at the time of his death, editor of the Watertown
Daily Times. He died 13 January 1870 at Watertown and she died 09 November
1880.
