born at Belleville, Jefferson co, NY on 27 February 1837. His first marriage
was to Frances Northrup (1842-1862) at unknown date. The second marriage
was on 19 January 1864 to Julie Webb Terry who was born on 12 May 1841.
She was the daughter of Silas and Julia (Webb) Terry. George died at Belleville
in 1912 and Julia died in 1922.
