Fannie Ann Bigelow married William F Farmer. They had two sons, one of which was named William Bigelow Farmer. He is my Grandfather. I have enjoyed your Bigelow Site very much.

--E-mail: states Fannie Ann Bigelow's husband was William Bigelow Farmer. He states that he had been in contact with Doug Bigelow in upstate NY who provided him with considerable information on the family. He states: "I grew up in MI, around Niles, and several family members remain there. I will inform them of the reunion" (in 1997, July 18-20, St. Mary's College, S. Bend, IN) "Among items I have in my collection is a diary of Fannie Ann Bigelow and the Civil War Military records and cavalry sword of her husband. I have also visited the farm and graves at Belleville, NY where James Knox Polk Bigelow, Horatio Nelson Bigelow and their wives are buried. (My grandparents and their children lived there for several years in the 1920's before moving to MI.
