(COX) BIGELOW, was born 28 Feb 1828 at Advocate, NS. She married Matthew
Kerr, born in Ireland in 1817. The son of Hugh and Elizabeth (Givan) Kerr.
In 1891 Kings Co. NS Census, Matthew, then a widower, was living with Robert
& Lydia (Kerr) Cox.(Lydia was child of first marriage) He died in Canning,,
NS on 18 Dec 1893. He had the following children by his first wife, Elizabeth
Ann Ells who died in 1857 age 35.

Lydia b. 1853 m. Robert Cox.;
Bessie, b.1855 m. Jedediah N. Loomer (1847-1882.
