David's wife, Jean was a board member in 1977 of the Bigelow
Society. David Bigelow was plagued in childhood with
recurring
meningitis and brain abcess and missed so much school that he was
held
back a year, but graduated from Berea (OH) high school in
1950.
He attended Brigham Young Universityfor
2 years and Utah State Univ. of Utah for 2 years. He was an L.D.S.
missionary
in Hawaii for 2 years. He became a landscape architect,
taking
his
degree from Utah State Univ. atLogan, Utah. He was employed
by
the
Latter Day Saints Church as landscape architect from 1961 to 1994
.
After
David's father's internship, David moved to Panguitch, Utah, later
to
Salt
Lake City, then Holiday, Utah.
