He married 31 May 1940 Norma Gabbitas in Payson, UT. She was born 31 May 1922 in Benjamin, Utah to Robert Charles and Violet Herbert Gabbitas. Perry died 01 February 1997 (age 76), in Salt Lake City, Utah, from complications of surgery. Norma  died 25 September 2000 (age 78) in Provo, UT.

Perry Kendall Bigelow, age 76, died February 1, 1997, in Salt Lake City, Utah, from complications of surgery. He was born March 31, 1920, in Panguitch, Utah, to Moses Willard and Amy Ilene Allred Bigelow. He married Norma Gabbitas on May 31, 1940, in Payson. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is survived by his wife of Provo; three sons and three daughters: Merlyn Perry Bigelow, of Mesquite, Nevada; Marilyn Jean Bigelow of Ivins, Utah; Mrs. Gary (Joanne) Simper of Salt Lake City, Utah; James Kendall Bigelow of Arryo Grande, California; Gregory Orton Bigelow of Hobble Creek, Utah; Mrs. Stephen (Cynda) Ellis of Provo, Utah. Also survived by 23 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three sisters: Amy Ilene Gasser of Bountiful, Utah; Lois Lelona Bigelow and Donna Bigelow, both of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers: Dr. Wilby Bigelow, Willard Bigelow, Erwin Bigelow, Dennie Bigelow and Kyle Bigelow. Burial was February 5, 1997.

Norma Gabbitas Bigelow, age 78 died September 25, 2000 in Provo. She was born May 31, 1922 in Benjamin, Utah to Robert Charles and Violet Herbert Gabbitas, she married Perry Kendall Bigelow. Norma is survived by three sons and three daughters: Merlyn Perry, Marilyn Jean Bigelow, Joanne, James Kendall, Gregory Orton, Cynda Lee. Funeral was held September 30, 2000 at 11 am with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
