15182.1912    George Elmer 9 BIGELOW, son of  Elmer Elbridge 8 ( Luther 7 , William 6 , Ivory 5, Gershom 4, John 3, Samuel 2, John 1) , and  Susan (HOLMAN) BIGELOW, was born at West Boylston, Worcester, MA on 17 January 1845 Millbury VR (16 January 1843?). He married Emily Sargent on 24 December 1867. She was the daughter of Merrick and Rebecca (Cutting) Sargent, and born 22 August 1834 in Lancaster, MA. George enlisted in Co. H, 4th Heavy Artillary, Mass. Vols., on 22 August 1864, and served till the end of the Civil War, 17 June 1865. They resided in North Rutland, MA. George Elmer died 04 June 1904 aged 59 at Berlin, Worcester County, MA, and buried there in The South Berlin Cemetery. No trace of Emily.
