15924.542 Marlin Isaac 8 BIGELOW, son
of Timothy 7 ( Timothy 6 , Timothy 5 , Isaac 4, Isaac 3, Samuel 2, John 1 ) and Julia (EDWARDS)
BIGELOW, was born at Collins Centre, Erie co, NY on 03 April 1837 and
at about ten years of age, moved with his parents into IL. Marlin
married twice (1) 15 October 1865 to Eutheria Bunnell and she died on 10
September 1879 at Kensington, Smith co., KS after having 9 children.
She is buried at Valley, Smith co, KS in the Olive Branch cemetery. (see
below) On 19 September 1895 he married Olive (Butts) Frisbee.
She was born 06 October 1851 in NY state and died 14 June 1936 at Marengo,
IL, his widow. It is said that Marlin raised an adopted child by marriage
(2). Marlin had served in the Civil War in Co. D., 15th Regt., IL Vols.
and was on Sherman's march "to the sea". He was mustered in on 24 May
1861 at Freeport IL and mustered out 24 May 1864 at Huntsville, AL "expiration
of term of service." After the Civil War he married Julia E. (Davis)
Kirk. He died at Marengo on 27 February 1913 after living in NY, IA,
IL, MO and KS.
