It was initials only for his name. He went with his mother into NE when she separated from his father in 1908. He settled in Morrill co. and lived there the remainder of his life. He married 30 July 1919 in Aurora, NE, Kathryn Kaiser the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Hinkle) Kaiser. She was born 27 March 1900 in Lincoln, NE and in 1981 she was living in Northport, NE. J. C. died on 26 May 1964 at Omaha, NE. "Kate died a widow 26 February 1992, and both are buried in Bridgeport, NE.

My grandfather's name was Charlie Arthur Bigelow. His father was

families aka cousins . I am sure glad to finally find a source for
laying it down other than my note books and childerns ears .
Mom is now living in the Bremerton Rest Home just over the Bridge
in Bremerton , Washington . She dont get a lot of visits
but family is always writing her . I have had a few more childern
so for those out there that keep the records straight we need
to write so contact me please at home PO Box 98777 , Des Moines ,
WA 98198 and any others that would like to keep the
ink flowing . I do check the libary net every once in awhile but
there is nothing like getting a good old fashion letter in the
mail
every now and then . All net surfers need to see that part of
history is falling away too!! So pull out the pen and write .

Dear Rod ,
I am sorry I was not even finished with the email that you had
gotten yesterday. I need to add a date of death. My mother Gladys
Irene Bigelow Daughter of Floyd and Martha Hazel Bigelow
passed away May 24 at 7:15 PM She would want me to let her family
know I am sorry that she had to go as she did but at 74 I am sure
she was all ready from all that she had done in all her life. Her
brother my uncle Fred is still living in the grandview nursing
home in Grandveiw Wash still to day and he is the only one left of
the four childern that they had. I did get to sya bye to her as
well as the other two childeren she had Leslie Ervin
Harris and Kenneth James Ball . and god had given me the
vision of the other side and how she was going to be so much
better there than here ...this vision came before she passed the
same day in 7th hour AM while she passed in the 7th hour in the PM
. I was thinking she was going to get better . well I am sure you
will be sad to hear of this news but willing to make sure it gets
where it needs to be. Thank you so very much , Nora Mae Smith
