Edwin Cuttbirth 8 BIGELOW

16C23.225      Edwin Cuttbirth 8 BIGELOW, son of  Rufus 7 ( Moses 6 , Ephraim 5 , Elisha 4 , Eleizer 3, Joshua2, John1) and Henrietta (EVERSMAN) BIGELOW, was born in Saline City, Saline co, MO on 29 August 1859. He married 18 October 1888 Cena Marie Huff, in the home of the bride's parents in Saline county. She was the daughter of Anthony Christian and Sarah Frances (Goodman) Huff, and born 14 April 1867 in Saline county. Edwin "Ed" was a farmer, grocery store proprietor, and maintenance man. Cena died 16 February 1948 with her widower "Ed" following her on 11 March 1948. Both are buried in Higgins City cemetery, Higgins, TX.. Edwin in Beaver co, OK

From the above census records we find that:

Edwin and Cena had two children between the year of their marriage in 1888 and the 1900 census where it notes Cena was the mother of 2 children of which 1 was alive at time of census.  This child is:

Elsie F   b. Jun 1892 in Missouri.  She married Albert E Smith in 1908 and they had the following children:

Morris    b. 1909 in Oklahoma
Earnest   b. 1911 in Oklahoma
Goldie    b. 1921 in Oklahoma
Ray       b. 1928 in Texas

Morris and Earnest were living with their paternal grandparents (Edwin and  Cena) at the time of the 1920 census and in 1930 census Edwin and Cena are 
living with their daughter and son-in-law Elsie and Albert Smith.
