Ephraim 5 BIGELOW

16C23     Ephraim 5 BIGELOW, son of Elisha 4 (Eleazer 3 Joshua2, John1), and Sarah (GOODRIDGE) BIGELOW, was born 08 August 1761 at Westminster, Worcester county, MA. He served in the Revolution, and was a private in Capt. Elisha Jackson's Co. in 1777. His intention-of- marriage was filed 14 December 1788 at Westminster. He married Lydia Johnson, parents and dates unknown. Both Ephraim and Lydia were living in 1803.

   Biglow, Ephraim, Westminster. Private, Capt. Elisha Jacksons co.; marched to East Hoosick Aug.22, 1777, under Command of Maj. Bridge, on the alarm of the battle of Bennington and there dismissed; service, 10 days.
